HISTORY

Arch Materials, LLC was incorporated in early 2006 after several years of planning, market studies, geologic exploration and evaluation of all data. Required permitting and zoning were obtained, and site development began. The tunnels leading to the underground mine were bored and developed over the span of 2007 thru 2009, surface plant construction was ongoing from 2008 thru 2010, with mining and production commencing in early 2009. On April 13 2009 Arch Materials opened for business and began selling construction aggregates commercially.

OWNER'S VISION

Arch Materials, LLC was the vision of family members who have grown up in a national construction and aggregate company with over 100 years of experience. Their vision was to take the best of their learning and build an independent construction aggregate company that was committed to the pillars of safety, environmental stewardship, quality products & servlce and community relations. It is upon that vision, experience and commitment that Arch Materials was founded. We strive everyday to achieve the vision of our founders by embracing safety as a value, employing state of the art technology, and engaging our customers, employees and community stakeholders.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

In addition to the industry experience of our founders, Arch Materials, LLC is guided daily by an experienced and committed local management team. Our VP/General Manager has acquired over 30 years of Aggregate Industry experience while working for major producers such as Vulcan Materials and Luck Stone Corporation in various sales, management and executive roles. Our Plant Manager and Mine Superintendent each bring over 25 years of diverse national and local mining and construction experience into play every day. Our sales and dispatch team is comprised of people who have gained over 15 years each of aggregate sales and transportation experience with Cincinnati area companies.
